Alessandro Schöpf has been playing for the Whitecaps in Vancouver, one of the most liveable cities in the world, since 2022. After the unfortunate exit in the Major League Soccer play-offs against Los Angeles FC, the Tyrolean spoke about the league without borders, paradise for his two golden retrievers and his future, which will be closer to his family again.

Vancouver has also really grown on Schöpf outside of soccer. The 32-time soccer team player says: "The quality of life is extremely high. You have mountains, but also the sea and the beach. There are beautiful forests all around the city. Vancouver itself also has a huge number of parks and green spaces. We've built a great life here."
