Floods: when you should start to worry

Since the early hours of the morning, raindrops have been pelting down from the sky in large parts of Austria. Although the rivers are currently still at normal levels, the authorities are already warning of possible floods. Krone+ took a look at when the situation will become critical and what precautions should be taken now.

"These are amounts of rain that I've never seen before," a meteorologist on a social network gets carried away with a bold prediction. "Guys, we're in for a huge flood," another fears among his followers. And indeed: huge downpours have been announced for the next few days. However, panic is not a good advisor.
