“Nine-year-olds already have porn on their cell phones”

Vorarlberg sex educator and cabaret artist Barbara Balldini stands for sex education with fun. However, she stops laughing when she thinks about the sexual neglect of many children and young people. In an interview with "Krone", she speaks plainly.

"Krone": Barbara, at what age should children be educated? 
Barbara Balldini: When they start asking questions. All three of my children were four years old when they asked how the baby gets into the womb. Then I explained it to them. In a child-friendly way, of course. There are also very nice children's books that help with the explanation. It was completely normal for them and not stressful at all. The topic was then over and in their teenage years they came back with questions.
