A fiery fight show: Things are heating up in the cage today!

Today, INNFERNO 10 celebrates its anniversary in Innsbruck with a fiery and furious martial arts series. PLUS subscribers (secure your offer here!) in Austria can join in the excitement of this MMA spectacle; the live stream will go live just before 7:15 p.m.

One cage, two fighters, and a variety of martial arts styles that merge into a complex, bone-crushing fight mix. It doesn’t get any hotter than this! The fiery sport of MMA has long since conquered the world’s biggest stages and fills arenas to capacity across the globe. Austria’s athletes and promoters are eagerly joining the fray, with the INNFERNO Fighting Championship delivering (domestic) highlight events since 2015.

After a series of sold-out MMA spectacles, they even ventured into Munich’s Olympic Hall! “A full house—a milestone in our history,” organizer Hannes Schneider still clicks his tongue in delight today.

Now they’re back in their Tyrolean home, at the impressive Dogana in Congress Innsbruck. And there, an international fight extravaganza is guaranteed today to mark the series’ anniversary.

Fighters promise excitement
With Laurin Pöschl, Julio Stanojevic, Umid Husseini, and Devran Yigiter, plenty of local heroes will certainly be making some noise in the cage. Additionally, James Heryck, the European and World Amateur Champion from Graz, will be joining the lineup.

In the highly anticipated main event for the featherweight title, a Viennese fighter will face off against the fiery Italian Pietro Micelli—namely Mathias Prehofer! The 28-year-old enters the Octagon with a huge dose of confidence thanks to six consecutive wins, especially since he has fond memories of the last INNFERNO event—where he delivered the “Fight of the Night”!

Star Power and a Good Cause
The big names in the scene don’t want to miss out on the tenth anniversary edition either. With Vienna’s Aleks Rakic, Alistair Overeem (Netherlands), and Jaris Danho (Syria), (former) fighters from the MMA Olympus, the UFC, have announced their attendance as spectators. In addition, the event is traditionally dedicated to a good cause: In collaboration with the charity association “VST Kitzbühel,” donations are made to underprivileged Tyrolean children; so far, 15,000 euros have been raised.
