Traffic circles, a future model for the roads

Following initial pilot tests, the province wants to push ahead with the expansion of traffic circles. They not only reduce traffic congestion, but are also more environmentally friendly.

The new traffic circles, which had to make way for two traffic light junctions in Spittal an der Drau, have been the subject of much debate. But as it now turns out, the traffic circles are better received by the population than expected.
