Galaxy Z Fold/Flip 6: Ready for the mass market?

South Korea's electronics giant Samsung is a pioneer in flexible displays with its Galaxy Z Fold and Flip smartphone series. While the first generations had teething problems, the sixth iteration that has now been released promises mature hardware and intelligent software. Are they ready for the mass market?

From a technical point of view, Samsung's new smartphones with flexible OLED screens have made considerable progress in the last two years, especially the now much flatter folding cases, the smoother and more robust hinges, the water protection and the ever-improving camera should be praised. However, there are still weaknesses that speak against a purchase - one overshadows them all.
