Citizens give gas company the cold shoulder

An Australian company wants to exploit a suspected large gas field in a town in Flachgau. So far, however, the company has been unable to find any land for it - the residents are opposing it. The distrust of the project becomes clear during the "Krone" local inspection.

The village of Rattensam in Straßwalchen has just 45 inhabitants. In the Salzburg community, however, it can be heard more often in conversations than before. This is because the Australian company ADX is trying to find a plot of land there to drill for gas. One of the largest gas fields in Europe is thought to be underground.
