He is completely silent in the Bible, only rarely is he mentioned, for a long time he was hardly recognized as a saint, but now he is popular, has numerous countries and professions to protect and is a frequent patron saint: the foster father of Jesus.

He didn't really want to believe the story about the Holy Spirit, so he decided to separate from her quietly. However, because an angel of the Lord confirmed the work of the Holy Spirit to Joseph in a dream and explained that this child would save people from their sins, the good man stayed with Mary.
