Suitcases full of drugs: students behind bars

It's a tempting offer: 10,000 euros for young people to take other people's luggage with them on vacation. And full of narcotics. This is why the Korneuburg public prosecutor's office is investigating at least 15 international suspects - some of whom are in custody. Just like a British couple who are now on trial.

A summer in Thailand - this dream came true for a young British couple this July. They booked a one-way ticket and enjoyed the sun, the sea and the nightlife. "In the course of an evening's entertainment, the accused met an as yet unknown perpetrator," said the Korneuburg public prosecutor's office (Lower Austria) in its indictment.
