Trick or treat, what fun! But it can have consequences if harmless pranks suddenly turn into a criminal offense. And no, even being young doesn't protect you from consequences. How far can your offspring go without coming into conflict with the law? We explain.
Those who don't give anything away will be punished: their house will be pelted with eggs, their door smeared with fake blood, their car wrapped in toilet paper. Do you think you're allowed to do that on Halloween? Then you are wrong. The Federal Criminal Police Office regularly warns against Halloween: "Not every prank that seems harmless to children and young people is within the law."
