Star architect takes a skeptical view of Graz stadium plans

The city of Graz now wants to resolve the never-ending stadium issue - the arena in Liebenau is to be rebuilt and extended on a grand scale. Architect Guido Pfaffhausen, who was responsible for the Allianz Stadium in Vienna, is skeptical about the plans.

Soccer fans and club representatives from Sturm and GAK did not rejoice on Tuesday. After years of procrastination and delays, the city of Graz has finally managed to find a solution to the stadium issue. The two-stadium solution is off the table, Liebenau will remain the joint home of black and red - and will be extensively renovated.
