Following the withdrawal of Wilfried Holleis from the Weißsee, the first interested parties are apparently already ready: at a meeting with Salzburg's ÖVP state governor Wilfried Haslauer on Wednesday, the impending end at 2300 meters was discussed once again and how the end of the hotel and cable car could be averted.

On Sunday, the day of the national elections, an era came to an end: the gondolas at Weißsee in Uttendorf have been closed ever since and the hotel door of the Rudolfshütte remains locked. The last day of this year's summer season marks the end until further notice. Zell hotelier Wilfried Holleis is closing the mountain hotel and cable car.
