Even during the overture, a tyrannical father torments his son by playing the piano. And then we glide into a dreamy "Magic Flute" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Francois De Carpentries' eagerly awaited production opened the opera season at the Linz Musiktheater.

It is the most frequently performed opera in the world, with almost a thousand layers of meaning and reveries - and you will never be able to get enough of it.
