Post-birth abortion: Trump’s last chance?

Donald Trump or Kamala Harris? On November 5, the USA will decide who will take the White House for the next four years. According to the latest polls, the Democrat is - albeit only just - ahead of the Republican ex-president, which is why the latter is now apparently hoping to turn the tide with a controversial issue: abortions, even after birth if necessary.

The economy, inflation and migration are among the dominant issues in the US election campaign - the concerns and needs of Americans are therefore hardly any different from those of most people in this country and many other European countries. Traditionally highly controversial and of particular importance to US voters this year, however, is another issue: abortion.
