Peter Hacker’s miraculous way of increasing money

The dispute over the minimum income has flared up. Hand on heart: 4600 euros a month for a large Syrian family - everyone who has worked hard all their lives and is now receiving a pension of just under 2000 euros is "getting their jollies".

No problem, says Vienna City Councillor Hacker: "Even if the family were to receive 6800 euros, as suggested by SPÖ leader Babler, that would not be a disaster. Because, says the wise city councillor, "they'll spend the money straight away".
