“New boboism”: how Doskozil settles accounts with the SPÖ
After the SPÖ's poor performance in the EU elections, there was a rapid increase in dissenting voices within the party. The result was an internal migration summit including a "new" party paper. Burgenland boycotted this. News on the topic of migration can be read in Hans Peter Doskozil's book, which will be published on July 11. Explosive details have already leaked out from Doskozil's circle.
"Please don't say that anywhere, you are constantly confronted with being too far to the right anyway", Doskozil's press officer once said to him in connection with his views on integration policy. Doskozil eventually wrote it down. In his political biography "Hausverstand: Mein Leben, meine Politik", Burgenland's governor explains his views on asylum - not without also settling accounts with his own party.
