New start after bankruptcy: Suddenly an employee again

At first, she took over her employer because the store was to be closed. Then other stores were added. Two months ago, however, the abrupt end came: Melanie Hofinger's book and toy shop slipped into bankruptcy. Since then, she has disappeared from the scene and is now breaking her silence.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your many years of loyalty and the trust you have placed in us," reads the note hanging in the window of the store at Harrachstraße 5 in Linz.
