Carinthia gets its own childcare facility

A few weeks ago, a dispute between the provincial government and the Chamber of Commerce over the lack of nurseries in the local economy caused thick air between the SPÖ and ÖVP. Now the state is setting an example and introducing a childcare option for state employees.

Too few kindergartens in local businesses: With this statement a few weeks ago, the Carinthian Social Democrats caused great displeasure among business enterprises. And the Carinthian Chamber of Commerce promptly countered. After all, the state itself has no childcare facilities. But that is now set to change.
