"Slow love" concept
“It’s an illusion that there should be an instant spark”
What happens if you don't feel any attraction on a first date? Many people then throw in the towel and think: "It can't work out anyway." Why the concept of decelerated love can often be more profitable than many people think, and why the initial tingling sensation can often be deceptive.
What does it take for attraction or the supposed "spark" to ignite on a first date? Many people go into a first date with this expectation and quickly give up when it doesn't happen. But even if Hollywood claims otherwise, it doesn't always have to be the big tingling sensation or love at first sight. After all, it can be an advantage if the attraction between people develops slowly.
The idea of "slow love" or decelerated love doesn't necessarily have to be better, but it can be a valuable approach for unhappy daters.
