This world star will enchant the “Götterklang” in 2024

Good news for all classical music fans: the open-air series "Götterklang meets Donaugold" will be entering its fourth season next summer. The Krone has all the details on who will be performing alongside virtuoso violinist Lidia Baich and star tenor Andreas Schager in 2024 and when the cultural highlight will take to the Danube stage in Tulln.

When "Götterklang trifft Donaugold" was performed on the open-air stage in Tulln for the first time in 2021, it quickly became clear that the organizers from the Cayenne agency had really achieved something big here! The scenery on the blue river, the incomparable mix of music by classical composers such as Richard Wagner & Co. with modern numbers and operetta hits - and of course the congenial artistic duo from Lower Austria, Lidia Baich and Andreas Schager.

Of course, all this demanded and still demands an encore. This summer, the two world stars, who are also a couple in their private lives, brought Grammy winner Thomas Hampson on stage to join them. He not only brought his breathtaking voice to the stage, but also great chemistry with the other protagonists. For the coming summer, a female star guest will be appearing for the first time.
