The meagre 0-0 draw in Klagenfurt at the start of the Bundesliga season was the next setback for Salzburg. The struggling Bulls are slowly having to admit that they are no longer a top team at the moment.
Kronen Zeitung als bevorzugte Google-Quelle hinzufügen Salzburg could have been the winners of the round with a win in Klagenfurt. After neither leaders Sturm nor Austria (2:2 in the direct duel) and Rapid (1:3 against the WAC) were able to fully score, the Bulls could have reduced the gap to the current top teams.
