The KPÖ was well in the running in the polls for the Styrian regional elections for a long time, but it will have to fight in the election finals. In an interview, top candidate Claudia Klimt-Weithaler explains why the Communists did not present their program too early, where the frustration among the people comes from and why she will not miss questions about Werner Murgg.

Claudia Klimt-Weithaler: (Thinking) I would say "Don't stop me now" by Queen. It's important that people realize that there are alternatives - apart from duels or three-way fights. You should vote for the party that best represents you.
