In contrast to the site in Ossiach, the former ÖGB vacation village on Lake Maltschach has been successfully given a new lease of life. Not only has a "lost place" like Lake Ossiach been prevented, but the entire region has been strengthened.

The state of Carinthia once purchased three vacation villages from ÖGB/BAWAG, and little or nothing happened for a long time. At Lake Ossiach, this situation has not changed despite the resale to an "investor", the area is falling into disrepair - we are constantly reporting on the efforts to find a solution.
