No half measures. In Paris, the Olympic committees of the major nations have once again spared no expense in providing their athletes and fans with a pompous setting. After all, the city has a lot to offer. However, you have to dig deep into your pockets to be close to the stars at their medal ceremonies. 

The USA has the largest contingent of athletes in Paris and will probably win the most medals again. Second place is frowned upon by the Americans anyway, so of course they also want to be number one when it comes to the house. And as far as the building is concerned, it is difficult to argue that this is not the case.
