An Upper Austrian energy company terminated the feed-in contract for the solar energy system. As a result, however, Helmut Bauer's lights were also turned off and he was completely without electricity. He does not believe that he is an isolated case and would like to warn others.

Helmut Bauer from the municipality of Bergland in the district of Melk led an involuntary "drop-out existence": because his electricity feed-in contract was terminated by Energie AG Oberösterreich - like that of around 20,000 other households - he was cut off completely!
