Predatory fish threatened to choke on turtle

Unusual "prey" for a large catfish on Lake Plesching. The predatory fish was in danger of choking on a turtle that got stuck in its mouth. In an interview with the "Krone" newspaper, Eleonore Rack describes how she was at least able to save the catfish's life.

It's not something you see every day: a huge catfish was fighting for survival on Lake Plesching in Upper Austria. The reason: the fish had a turtle stuck in its mouth, was unable to swallow the animal or spit it out and was in danger of suffocating.
