Earthquake: 1000 Jet filling stations up for sale

The domestic mineral oil industry is facing an earthquake: The 162 Jet service stations in Austria are up for sale with immediate effect. This is shown in the recently published quarterly report of the US parent company Phillips 66. The 815 petrol stations in Germany are also being put on the market.

"We recently initiated the process to sell our retail business in Germany and Austria. This is in line with our plan to divest non-core assets," says Mark Lashier, President and CEO of the energy giant with a market capitalization of 64.78 billion dollars. The domestic Jet service station network is part of this retail distribution business.
