New rule worth a lot
Janko: “Arsenal are the favorites against Bayern”
The first legs of the Champions League quarter-finals between Real Madrid and Manchester City (3:3) and Arsenal and Bayern Munich (2:2) thrilled all soccer fans. Sky pundit Marc Janko is also expecting two thrillers in today's second leg: "The away goals rule has been abolished, so there's no need for tactics. That's worth its weight in gold." And why a Bayern win would bring Salzburg 50 million euros.
For him, City and Real are the two strongest teams in the competition: "This is definitely the early final. You've already seen that at the Bernabeu in Madrid. Manchester are outstanding in their possession game, Madrid in their transition game." In his view, every single player has a lot of experience at the top level: "That's the decisive criterion in the hot phase of the premier class."
