What is now important when it comes to saving energy

The WEBUILD energy-saving trade fair in Wels, which runs until Sunday, March 10, is a must-attend event for many. Gerhard Dell, Managing Director of the Upper Austrian Energy Saving Association, revealed what motivates people to rethink, how electricity now even promotes togetherness and what even tenants can do.

Boxes of brochures are stored on a trolley in front of the entrance door with a note saying "Will be collected" stuck to them. "We're moving," says Gerhard Dell, referring to the fact that the energy-saving association he manages is at the energy-saving trade fair in Wels with its team of consultants until Sunday.

Before the hustle and bustle, the 62-year-old took a seat with the "Krone" in the building on Landstraße in Linz, where the organization has its offices. It's quiet in the Energy Academy seminar room, with only the humming of the server room.
