Wolf alarm in Trentino: mother and child pursued

Threatening scenes shock the inhabitants of a small village in Trentino. As a video (see below) shows, a wolf came dangerously close to a young mother taking her baby for a walk. Once again, the debate has flared up about how humans and animals can live together and whether the trusting wolf should be removed from the wild.

The wolf, which appeared to be young, ran across the middle of the cross-country ski trail in the Italian Fassa Valley without any shyness and was not even disturbed by several amateur athletes who were running across the snow.
