Where the first ÖVP grandee is now approaching Herbert Kickl

When will the election take place, how will the coalition be formed and how will Chancellor Karl Nehammer's Austria plan work out economically? The "Krone" newspaper asked this and more of Chamber of Commerce President Harald Mahrer (ÖVP). What he answered and with whom he sees (no) overlaps in terms of content.

"Krone": Mr. Mahrer, are the Greens really solely to blame for the high inflation?
Harald Mahrer: In April 2022, after the start of the war of aggression in Ukraine, the social partners jointly made a proposal on how to intervene in energy prices. The Chancellor tried to convince the Green government partner. This was not successful and is now demonstrably a key factor in high inflation. In retrospect, this could have been done better based on the facts.
