Why expert government is a pipe dream
After the double failure of government negotiations, politicians at federal level have a worse image than ever. Those who are not die-hard party supporters therefore find the idea of experts in government charming. But "Krone" political expert Peter Filzmaier explains why the devil is in the detail.

Of course, there is no definition of what this means in politics. One can argue about who is suitable. University criteria for expertise - for example scientific publications - often do not match the required practical relevance.
