How customers can save money when surfing the Internet

Austrians are lazy when it comes to switching and not only waste a lot of money on their electricity tariff or cell phone contract, but also on their Internet provider. Which offer suits best also depends on user behavior, but a comparison shows: There is great potential for savings across all groups. 

According to the latest figures from mid-2024, we used around 2.6 million connections for mobile internet, plus 2.7 million fixed broadband connections, according to the telecommunications authority RTR. Because both are used in some cases, around 60 percent of households have fast internet at home.
