The SPÖ has fallen off the face of the earth

One political quake follows the next. One crisis follows another. In Salzburg, too, many things are suddenly different than announced. The top politicians are currently losing all credibility. But the "Reds" cannot use this to their advantage. On the contrary: they are increasingly disappearing into oblivion.

Since the FPÖ state election victory, Styria once again has a blue state governor in Mario Kunasek. The first since Jörg Haider and Gerhard Dörfler in Carinthia. The Zuckerl coalition has failed miserably in its negotiations. Chancellor Karl Nehammer has resigned. The new transitional ÖVP leader Christian Stocker has also resigned - namely from his promise never to form a coalition with Kickl.
