With its 9600 employees, McDonald's is one of the largest employers in Austria. A separate collective agreement applies to employees at the 200 or so branches, which regulates salaries as well as working hours and changing rooms. Krone+ took a look at how lucrative a job at the fast food giant is.

"A dream job to go? Come right away!" advertises McDonald's Austria on its homepage. There are plenty of vacancies: whether as a kitchen or service employee, guest advisor, cleaner, restaurant manager or children's party supervisor - McDonald's is always looking for new staff. And in addition to a work uniform, it also offers an online language platform to improve your German language skills.
