There is hardly anyone who fits the description of party soldier as well as Christian Dörfel. The 63-year-old long-serving militia officer has worked for the ÖVP since 1985 and has been Upper Austria's State Councillor for Social Affairs and Integration since Thursday. How he approaches his role and why he doesn't shy away from comparisons with Ralf Rangnick. 

"Krone": As head of the ÖVP party, you were responsible for the fire department, civil protection and constitutional issues. What qualifies you to be the provincial councillor for social affairs and integration?
