Wildcat returns: more and more evidence

The number of wildcats in Austria is increasing. Recently, several specimens have been found in Styria, for example. Migration corridors should help the shy animal to spread out even more.

And they do exist: even though the wildcat - known as "felis silvestris" in Latin - is still officially considered "extinct" in this country, there has recently been increasing evidence of the existence of this beautiful and shy wild animal.
