Most recently Asfinag, now ÖAMTC: criminals are using Austria's road and automobile institutions for perfidious scams. Krone+ has taken a look at what is behind the scams and how you can protect yourself.

It's the same approach time and time again - unfortunately, people are robbed of their hard-earned money time and time again. Fraudsters use well-known names, logos and websites of reputable companies and clubs to lure people to a fake website, elicit their (account) details and then rip them off in a perfidious way!
