The mother of the 17-year-old who died of an overdose in May described his ordeal to the "Krone" newspaper , as reported in detail. Now the institutions that are being criticized are speaking out, namely the child and adolescent psychiatry department in Hall, the Tyrolean addiction support service and the state of Tyrol.

"Every single death in connection with mental illness is an unimaginably difficult blow for the families affected. It also affects me and my team deeply every time," says Kathrin Sevecke, Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in Hall and Innsbruck.
