Karin Peschka: What Bruckner loved – and chased away

The classical composer Anton Bruckner not only often got drunk with a monkey, he even had a monkey as a friend. And now he meets him again at Wilhering Abbey: in the theatrical journey "Bruckner's Monkey" by Karin Peschka, the ensemble of the Theater Spectacle wakes Bruckner from his eternal sleep - an experiment!

Only when it rumbles against the wall does it become clear that there is a sarcophagus on the stage, but then - to the amazement of the mourners - it bursts open and out comes Mr. Bruckner.
