How Lower Austrians fall in love online

Click, date and fall in love: It has been over 20 years since the first Austrians met and fell in love online. 37 percent of Lower Austrians have already fallen in love with an online date. What is behind this and what makes online dating so successful? 

2.3 million Austrians have already fallen in love with someone they met online. 1.5 million have moved in with an online date and 450,000 have even said "I do". And some online couples have already had offspring: 350,000 children were born to lovers.
