MMA fighter Schober:
“Nobody annoys me on the street anymore”
Leg-hard, brutal, spectacular: mixed martial arts is considered the toughest combat sport in the world, but it's more than just clumsy striking! With the 11th Cage Fight Series tomorrow Friday in the Arena Nova in Wr. Neustadt - the preliminary fights can be watched live from 6.30 pm on krone.at - event pioneers Gerhard and Michael Ettl are once again inviting gladiators into the cage. One of them is Dominic Schober.
31 years old, muscle-bound, tattooed all over his body. Only at first glance does Schober fulfill the cliché of the wild roughneck, the impetuous roughneck. "Yes, I didn't have the best youth, I was involved in fights. I was always a martial arts enthusiast. I met someone through a bouncer job in 2010 who introduced me to the MMA scene. Since then, I haven't had any more problems outside the ring, and I no longer get annoyed by nasty words from people on the street." Competitive sport served as an outlet and provided a goal.
