In this super election year, many politicians and campaigners are out on the streets in Styria promoting their cause. But the tone is getting rougher and rougher, and one campaigner has even been spat at. Why do people do this to themselves? The "Krone" asked.

Who actually wants to do this to themselves? This question is being asked more and more often when it comes to politics. In Germany, countless politicians have been attacked and in some cases seriously injured in recent weeks and months. And in Styria, too, the tone is becoming increasingly harsh in this super election year.
