Salzach to get a new large power plant

Salzburg AG is starting construction of the Golling power plant. The municipality has already been informed and the local residents will be involved in June.

The project is mentioned in passing in the Black-Blue government program. Now Salzburg AG is taking a concrete approach to the construction of the Salzach power plant near Golling with its partner Verbund. The project operators recently presented their plans to the Golling municipal council. In mid-June, an "energy dialog" is to be held in the Tennengau town for citizens and potential neighbors of the power plant. The project is not without controversy.
