Salzburg AG is cutting prices for private customers for feeding electricity into the grid as of July 15 - is it still worth it? The "Krone" presents two examples that show how much or how little you can earn with your own rooftop electricity.

A report from Upper Austria also caused a stir among some electricity pioneers in Salzburg on Wednesday: Energie AG, the counterpart to Salzburg AG, is terminating 20,000 customers' photovoltaic contracts at the end of June. Up to now, customers have received at least 15.73 cents per kilowatt hour of electricity fed into the grid from their neighbor, but from now on it will only be a few cents.
