Comparison: How much Mateschitz pays for households

Once again there are calls for wealth taxes for the super-rich. But Agenda Austria boss Franz Schellhorn is now countering this with arguments. He has the latest figures and argues in favor of lower taxes. So that people can build up wealth. 

In times of inflation and recession, the super-rich should be hit hard. This is what we have been hearing from left-wing circles for months. The SPÖ and associated institutes are also pushing this narrative. Wealth taxes or taxes on millionaires should be introduced. People like Red Bull heir Mark Mateschitz, who was left more than 30 billion by his father, are repeatedly the focus of attention. They would pay too little tax compared to "normal citizens".
