Before school, stores selling alcohol and sex products are booming

Being able to shop around the clock is a great thing in itself. But when rows of snack stores with vending machines open in front of schools, parents, police and politicians are less than happy. There is hardly any action against the sale of beer, cannabis products or dildos. 

Snacks, gummy bears, munchies, refreshments, but also canned beer, e-cigarettes, various hemp products, countless types of snus, dildos, anal plugs and other sex toys: the "snack stores" in Gmunden in Upper Austria offer all of these products in their vending machines. Around the clock, seven days a week. There is no staff, but the stores are soundproofed like party rooms.
