The cabaret artist, author and expert on human nature Stefan Vögel answers questions that others don't even dare to ask. This time it's about status symbols and dazzle. The one does not exist without the other.  

Just like one's own house, one's own car is still seen by those around us as visible evidence and proof of wealth. The fact that the subtle difference between possession (the car is mine) and ownership (the car belongs to me) is pushed into the background in this assessment is one of the strange phenomena of human perception and has to do with their susceptibility to all forms of deception, which is also exploited by investment fraudsters.
