Local terrorism researcher Dr. Nicolas Stockhammer analyzes the massacre in Moscow in an interview with "Die Krone". The expert talks about the failure of the Russian security apparatus, the consequences of the attack and why the USA currently has the best secret service in the world. 

"Krone": Dr. Stockhammer, terror has arrived in Moscow. The terrorist militia IS has claimed the attack for itself. Hand on heart. Would you have expected such bloody terror in the heart of Russia at the moment? 
Nicolas Stockhammer: Unfortunately, major acts of terrorism in Russia were always to be expected. There are several terrorist groups and extremist organizations that have a fundamental interest in striking there. On the one hand in the context of the war in Ukraine, but on the other hand even more from the Islamist side. IS in particular, but also scattered terrorist groups with links to the North Caucasus. However, it was definitely not foreseeable that the IS-KP would be able to carry this out with such vehemence and open brutality, as well as tactical "quality".
