Uschi Zezelitsch reveals how to do it right!

Herb witch Uschi Zezelitsch has raised beds herself. She knows exactly how to fill them correctly. She gets the soil for them from Mattersburg, where Betonwerke Koch operates its own composting plant. 

Before you even buy your raised bed, you should think about where you want to put it. There is a wide range of materials to choose from. A raised bed made of wood is of course particularly natural. "It is particularly important that the bed is not placed directly on the ground, otherwise it will quickly rot from below," explains Uschi Zezelitsch. You can help yourself here with paving stones or other supports.
